COMBINED USE OF EXPERIMENTAL INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES IN TEACHING RUSSIAN AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE

The paper is devoted to the possibilities of combined application of virtual reality (VR) technologies and the Creative Maps Studio web application in teaching Russian as a foreign language (RFL). The main purpose of the work is to show the potential of combining the teaching methods of RFL with the use of VR technologies and Creative Maps Studio web application for a more effective learning process and for the development of students’ communication skills. The specifics of information technologies available to the Perm State University are presented. Their key advantages for the educational process are noted. The lesson plan for the discipline of RFL for Chinese students using VR technologies and the web application Creative Maps Studio is demonstrated. The advantages and disadvantages are discussed.
