The quality of human capital is determined by the level of education that can ensure effective socialization of university graduates in their future professional environment, as well as their adaptation to the ever-changing requirements of the modern labor market. The relevance of the article is caused by the need to create and approve new methods of teaching foreign languages, which allow to prepare graduates of non-linguistic universities to work in the conditions of digital transformation of their professional environment. Analysis of specialized literature, observation, open-ended questionnaires were used as research methods. The paper describes the training of bachelors of humanities institutes of Petrozavodsk State University in the module "Business Communication in Digital Professional Environment" within the discipline "Foreign Language". The types of learning activities, their objectives, pedagogical technologies used, principles and approaches of digital didactics applicable to learning in the digital environment are presented. As advantages of training in the proposed format students noted the reduction of anxiety in speaking, increased interest in learning a foreign language; development of critical thinking, initiative, creativity; formation of communicative and digital competencies. High labor costs and difficulties in mastering digital technologies are noted among the disadvantages. The author concludes that the rapidly changing economic conditions and labor market make it necessary to search for new approaches and methods of digital didactics, providing quality training of students to work in a digital professional environment This requires the efforts of the entire professional community.
