The article provides a critical understanding of the changes in the modern system of school and university education, which determines the functional restructuring of a teacher and his/her activities during the transition to digital educational content. A criterion assessment of changes in the activity of a modern teacher in the conditions of digitalization of educational routes in the logic of Hegel's philosophy is carried out. The indisputable contribution of the pedagogical reflections of the Great Philosopher, the relevance of his pedagogical recommendations, a special vision and criticism of "game" pedagogy in the formation of the student's personality is emphasized. The phenomenon of goal-setting in the educational process is analyzed on the basis of Hegel's pedagogical heritage.
