Today, the digitalization of education is a rapid and inevitable process. А powerful catalyst for it was the pandemic. The article raises the question of developing a common "ideology" of digitalization, which should orient this process in such a way that education does not lose its dialogic and interpersonal feature. In other words, the process of socialization today is possible only if the digital environment should not be an obstacle, but a meaningful choice for dialogue between a teacher and a student.

The paper provides the results the researching of the experience of applicants (ISUCT) in 2020, this process being considered as a cultural practice from the point of view of cultural studies. A special focus is placed on the communicative practices of admission in the context of pandemic restriction 2020. The main tracks of applicants’ admission were identified, the importance of the communicative online-infrastructure of admission was determined.
