The main objective of the paper is to describe the use of mobile apps in education. The authors discuss the characteristic features of Generation Z. They also point out that it is necessary to use the blended learning approach to take into account individual characteristics and needs of the new generation of students. The article gives a brief description of different models of blended or hybrid learning technology, introduces its pros and cons and demonstrates the experience and results of its use by the foreign researchers. The paper considers educational mobile apps that work on popular operating systems iOS or Android. The article contains apps for creating puzzles, worksheets, tests and exercises that may help to make the learning process exciting for generation Z students.
