PHRASEOLOGICAL LEXICON OF THE NATIVE VILLAGER OF IVANOVO REGION: LEXICOGRAPHIC DESCRIPTION PRACTICE

The article discusses the theoretical and practical problems associated with the lexicographic working out of idiomatic expressions in a special author’s dictionary, in particular, aspects concerning the principles of the phraseological units’ arrangement in the dictionary, idiom description parameters, the content and structure of a dictionaryentry, etc. Some methods to solve these problems are proposed. They were developed in the description of the phraseological lexicon of the native villager of Ivanovo region.

ENGLISH RHYMING SLANG AS A SPECIА PHENOMENON OF LINGUISTIC NONSENSE

The article analyzes the statements in the English rhyming slang as an original phenomenon of linguistic nonsense, since the culture of nonsense is an interesting and little-studied phenomenon. The point of view is expressed that statements in the English rhyming slang are not only one of the ways of language coding intended for communication of "initiates", but also a special kind of semi-sentence statement that is formulated correctly in itself, but the subject in this case is attributed to a predicate that does not suit it.

LINGUISTIC OBJECTIFICATION OF LINGUOCULTURAL DOMINANT «CHRISTIANITY» IN N.S. LESKOV "BYZANTINE" LEGENDS CYCLE

The article is devoted to the analysis of the linguistic objectification of the linguistic and cultural dominant "Christianity" in N.S. Leskov language consciousness. A cycle of the «Byzantine» legends was chosen for the research. The author of the article uses the linguoculturological research approach in order to interpret N.S. Leskov language search, objectivating the linguistic and cultural dominant "Christianity".

INTERTEXTUALISMS IN THE COMMUNICATIVE SPACE OF THE MEDIA (ON THE MATERIAL OF INOSMI WEBSITE)

At the present stage, the process of creating a newspaper article (printed or online) is turning into creativity aimed at attracting a readership. The journalists try to avoid stereotypical descriptions of current events. One of the most striking ways of conveying expressiveness and emotional appraisal for effective influence on a reader is intertextuality.

TRADITIONAL AND INNOVATIVE METHODS OF TEACHING FOREIGN LANGUAGES

The purpose of the article is to try to solve the problem of increasing the effectiveness of foreign language training in Russian universities and forming the necessary universal and professional competencies for University graduates. The general scientific methods of comparative analysis, synthesis and generalization of the most common approaches, as well as existing methods and techniques of teaching a foreign language were applied. The advantages of choosing a pragmatic interdisciplinary multi-aspect approach to teaching a foreign language at a University are noted.

TO THE PROBLEM OF STUDYING PROFESSIONAL TERMINOLOGY BY THE STUDENTS OF NON-LINGUISTIC DEPARTMENTS

The article deals with the peculiarities of studying special terminology by the students of non-linguistic departments. The purpose of the current research is to evaluate the level of professional terminology acquisition by the second-year students of the department “Nanotechnologies and microsystem engineering » at the Ivanovo State University. The material included the students’ written papers, in which they were given various tasks, concerning their knowledge of nanotechnological terminology.

WAYS OF FORMING A VALUE ATTITUDETO THE RUSSIAN LANGUAGE

The article raises the problem of clogging up the Russian language in modern society. The author points out the need to form a value-based and careful attitude to the Russian language as a native and as a foreign language. The purpose of this article is to indicate the reasons for the lack of value attitude to the Russian language, as well as to reveal the forms of work aimed at solving this problem. Methods and methods of work are described in stages, depending on the age of students: early preschool age, middle and senior preschool age, school age, youth age.

MODULE SYSTEM IN PROFESSIONAL TRAINING: NEW APPROACHES TO MASTERS’ TEACHING PRACTICE

The article provides a critical analysis of the educational process organization in the technical university master's degree programme in terms of the modular approach to learning. The problems faced by students during teaching practice are discussed. The article offers psychological and pedagogical conditions for the formation of readiness for pedagogical activity and effective pedagogical training of undergraduates.

PROBLEMS OF TEACHING VERBS OF SPEAKING TO SENEGALESE STUDENTS (IN RUSSIAN AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE)

The article deals with the semantic features of verbs of speaking and controversial issues of a terminology. Special attention is paid to the difficulties faced by students from Senegal when learning Russian verbs of speaking. Possible versions for assignments on this topic are presented.

RISKS OF DIGITALIZATION OF EDUCATION: DO WE NEED ESPORTS ELECTIVES?

There are high expectations for the digitalization of education in Russia today. Moreover, in 2019, Internet Development Institute sent the Ministry of education of the Russian Federation a list of games, as well as general recommendations that can form the basis of the program of eSports electives in Russian schools. We would like to emphasize the serious risks of introducing computer games into the education process.
